this madness my local theater is showing the
original twilight at nine AND if you attend that
showing you get to keep your seat for new moon...

seats neck strained up to see the screen at midnight...

so i'll be sitting through both and to assure my absolute
enjoyment is fulfilled i will be accompanied by these:

today i wanted to share with you a musician that
i just absolutely and completely love to my core...

i first heard this guy on grey's anatomy a little over
four years ago and instantly fell hard for his voice...

at the time i was still living in washington and when
i googled the guy i found that he was playing at a total
dive bar in seattle for $twelve bucks just a week later...

called my girl katie and she was down so it was set...

and oh friends what a magical night it was...

his voice is a million times sweeter in person than
it is on the radio.tv.records. or anywhere else...

we were so so close to him...

okay well everyone was it was dive bar...

but it still completely felt like he was singing just for me...

the very next day i picked up this record...

{perfection in ten little songs}

and since it has probably been one of my very favorites...

honestly is someone forced me to get rid of all my music
and i was only allowed to keep one it would be this one...

every single song i will sing at the top of my lungs...

every single song i count as my favorite...

that gorgeous bcbg gown i was going
to rent for my big event i had coming...

well i didn't end up renting it because
i was just tooo tooo nervous that it
would be on backorder when time came...

so that sent me to e.bay where i ended
up finding a dress i loved even more...

AND...

it just happened to be my favorite color!!!

it came and it was just slightly to large in {ahem} a
certain area where i am not as shapely so i simply took
it into my favorite sowin gal and she fixed me up...

and then the big night came and i
was oh so thrilled to get dolled up
because uh.we all know getting
ready is most of the fun right?!?

well at least i think so...

but things took a massive turn for the WORSE
when my hair just revolted against ME. ME!!!

i am so not used to this friends so it was a cause for
a mild tantrum and pout fest right there and then...

but over all the night ended up being a blast as they
usually are and of course you will never find this gal
turning down free food that is served right to her...
especially when that free food includes ginormous
pieces of chocolate cake with delish raspberry sauce!

i have so so much kinda a.lot to catch up on...

for the last couple of weeks i have been
getting seriously intense headaches and
i am not sure what is causing them but
they are killafoshilla and so i tried to be
off the computer as much as possible the
last couple of days and combine that with
the fact that meg obliterated my powerbook
charger and i really had no other option...

and i need to post about my thursday night...

but first i wanted to share some photos from
the {almost} completely awesome weekend
that we had with our new pals wes and crystal...

friday night we met up with them for dinner
and the new christmas carol flick in three.dee...

run it is SO good...

and the graphics and real three.dee are AMAZING!!

but back to the good times...

turns out that they're just as big a'nerds
as we are which floats my boat like.whoa...

everyone in their specks was hilarious so of course i had
to be sure to get blackmail material capture them all...

we decided to make it as entertaining as possible...

one gal stopped me and as she was laying out
her extreme love of my ginormous hair said
that i need to keep rockin the amy winehouse...

er.uh.ha.no thanks...

i am all for the bigger the better...

but larger than life nahsomuch...

there is a question that when i get asked...

well i sort of clam up and cringe because
i never NEVER come up with an answer...

that question is: "what is your favorite flick?!"...

this question boggles the brain...

with all the movies my eyes come across...

and in the rare occasion a movie comes along
that i think just may finally be the answer to
that question that has gilded me for so long...

well then i get asked once more and again i am just
at a complete and total loss to answer back just one...

and oh so vary rare is it that a movie will come along
and will not only provide incredible viewing but a stop
dead in your tracks out of this world soundtrack as well...

and so for today's tune it in i thought i would share with you
a movie that did just that and i demand that if you have
yet to see this movie that you go out and rent it N O W...

'cept if language is a deal breaker for you cause it is
somewhat of a foreign film and you know how they
likey to use the cursin words and like.whoa they do...

and i am fairly certain hopefull that when you do see this
movie you will fall completely in love with the music too...

and that movie you ask?!?!
well it is this special one...

the movie is about the two above...

WHAT ARE 5 THINGS YOU WOULD DO W/A BILLION$$?
{1} pay of all debt...
{2} buy acres and acres of land somewhere AUHMAZING
and build loads of homes and turn it into a family comunne...
{i love to be around family at all times so i imagine a huge
gathering place in the middle of the land where we could sit
around a fire all night.talk and catch up and roast smores!!}
{3} make sure all the kids in my family {immediate/extended}
had massive college funds so tuition was never an issue...
{4} like lindz pour out the $$ into causes i truly believe in...
{5} and of course give to my church...
